Last Friday we celebrated Multicultural Day for the students in our school. There were students from the Cook Islands, Japan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Argentina, Greece and of course, Australia. To finish off the day there was a game called Netball where Students (A) played against Students (B) and then the teachers played against the parents. There was dancing too! The Cook Island students were dancing very well. Some of the teachers danced with them trying to copy them. Even some of the other children were dancing to some of the music. Our school even sold some hot dogs, ice blocks and drinks.

On Thursday 22nd October 32 kids went to watch the cricket at the Sydney Cricket Ground. We waited at school for about an hour to get on the bus because it was very late. On the bus I sat getting very bored. When we got to the cricket ground there were lots of other schools and the children in those schools had lots of freckles. When we walked inside the stadium we found some seats to sit in and then we began cheering for the NSW team who were playing against Tasmania. Lots of kids from our school and the other schools were asking for autograghs. Some kids got autograghs all over their bodies. When it was time to go back to the school we packed our bags and went into the bus and went back to school. It was fun day at the cricket.
