Bright Sparks will be on holidays for the next 2 weeks. Even though we won’t be adding any new posts over the next 2 weeks, we will still be watching out for your thoughts and comments on our posts from the last 2 months.

Bright Sparks: Remember you can still add to the wikispace and your teacher will be logging in every now and then to see if anyone has added any information - we still have a narrative to finish.

The awaited movie “The Invasion” rated G, based on the narrative of the same name (check out Wiki) has been released.

We are looking forward to reading your movie reviews.

Bright Sparks have been making a science fiction
movie to help improve our narrative writing. We used the ideas from our movie to help us develop setting, characters and plot. The whole class joint construction of our narrative is on-going and is not yet finished. It can be seen on our Wiki (go to blogroll).

At the same time we have learnt lots about using the camcorder and creating movies.

Stay tuned for the release date of “The Invasion” produced and directed by Bright Sparks.

Last week Bright Sparks visited many places in outer space. We wrote postcards to send to our families and friends. Here are some of the heavenly bodies we visited.

Yesterday 10 kids went to a class to learn how to help other kids work and play fairly in the classroom and playground. We made a poster for a game to show to the other Bright Sparks in our class. If you look at the photos you will see the posters being made. We were in teams to make the posters. After making and playing our own games we played other games like”A big wind blows”, “Crossing the River” and “Jail Break” which are lots of fun. We also sang songs which was lots and lots of fun. Our teachers are Cathy & Alex, they are lots of fun and are very funny. We have them for three weeks, we are in our 2nd week.

Jupiter has 63 moons.
Interesting Facts
Jupiter has a ring around it made of faint, dark narrow rings composed of tiny rock fragments.
