Cricket Fun!
S2J were given the opportunity to practise their cricket skills when Emma from Cricket NSW came to visit our school. We were divided into 3 groups to practise skills in bowling, batting and fielding. Robert, unsure of his own strength, hit the tee further than the ball. Tianna threw the ball and hit Jasmine in the face (accidently) and Alfonsina forgot that her eyes were on the front of her head and, whilst walking backwards, knocked over our photographer, Ashly. Apart from the many mishaps, a fun time was had by all.

The Importance of Space Exploration
Space exploration is important and necessary.
Firstly, learning about the solar system will increase our knowledge in science.
Next, learning about the solar system will help us learn about our own planet and improve our way of life on Earth. Also, space exploration will help us make positive changes in life.
In addition, space exploration is important because it will help us find out if there’s life in space.
In conclusion, I think space exploration is important and necessary.

The Importance of Space Exploration By Moutairi
Space exploration is important and necessary.
Firstly, learning about space will help us learn more about our planet and help us solve medical problems and increase our knowledge about the solar system.
Furthermore, learning about space will help us learn if there’s life on planets and in space. It will help us warn people if a comet, asteroid or meteor is about to hit Earth.
In addition, learning about space will help us with work in class and will tell us what is happening around the universe.
In conclusion, I believe space exploration is important and necessary.

Welcome to Bright Sparks’ very first blog. In the up and coming months you will be able to view our information reports about the solar system. We will also be conducting several experiments that will assist us to understand the Earth and the Universe. There will be a controversial discussion about the landing on the moon and a possible re-enactment of this event. In August we will be visiting Sydney Observatory where we will be able to view the Moon, Venus, bright stars and the Sun using a special solar telescope. Looking forward to your comments as we delve into the the blue beyond.
