‘08 Bright Sparks
‘08 Bright Sparks is a Stage 2 multiage class made up of 30 Year 3 and 4 students between the ages of 7 and 10. There are 17 girls and 13 boys. The families of the Bright Sparks students come from 17 different countries, however many of us were born in Australia. We all speak English at school but many of us also speak another language at home including Arabic, Greek, Vietnamese, Maori, Tongan, Turkish, Nepalese, Bengali, Urdu, Indonesian, Tagalog and Thai. Some of us also learn Arabic and Greek at school.
Bright Sparks like to do all kinds of things at school and have all different kinds of smarts. At school we do reading, writing, art, science, sport and maths. We enjoy using the computers and interactive whiteboard and going to the library. We always try to follow the school and classroom rules and do quality work so we can earn lots of star and house points. Our goal this year is to win the 2008 Class of the Year Award.
